Taking up Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect Associate Exam (SAA-C03)

0

I am a fresher to Information Technology (IT) or software development field. When I browsed the website links of many job openings in tech companies, they are asking for credentials having experience in cloud application development for getting software development jobs offered in their companies. I tried researching which is the best cloud certification to take as part of applying for the job openings and found out that Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect Associate Exam (SAA-C03) is probably the certification examination which might prove my credentials in cloud development for getting offered software development jobs in tech companies. I got to know that the "third party vendor" for offering Amazon certification exams is "certmetrics" and their website link is https://www.certmetrics.com/amazon/default.aspx. It is also being mentioned in the website link that the cost of booking the Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Associate Architect Exam is USD150. As I am not currently working full time now, I do not have any money with me to pay for booking this certification exam. May I please know whether I can take up this certification exam for free and later after getting the job, get deducted the cost of taking up this certification exam from my salary paid by the company in which I will be working?

Hi Vikas,

I would recommend you to start by going on https://skillbuilder.aws/ and register for an account.

You will get there tons of free training to prepare for all AWS certifications: you would then just have the exam itself to pay.

And before that, you can follow trainings on SkillBuilder that will give you official accreditation badges in multiple areas: those badges are fee to obtain. You just need to pass the final exam on SkillBuilder. Then you get those badges via Credly and you can display them in your LinkedIn profile.

If you obtain a few of those badges, some employers will hire you based on those and then pay for your certification exam as your employment.

Good luck!

I dont think you'll find anyway of taking this exam for free. The best you could do is look for offers. The companys own policy may sponsor you to take the exam but thats on a per company basis.

There currently is an offer for 50% off this exam which can be found here https://bit.ly/50off-associate
