Request for domain transfer to another registrar

0

I've requested a domain transfer to another registrar, but I keep encountering authentication code errors during the process. How can I resolve this?

Make sure that you are using the correct authorization code.

Make sure that you are entering the authorization code correctly. The authorization code is case-sensitive, so be sure to type it carefully.

Make sure that the domain is not locked. Some registrars allow you to lock a domain to prevent it from being transferred. If the domain is locked, you will need to unlock it before you can transfer it.

Make sure that the domain is not in the grace period. Some registrars have a grace period after the domain registration expires during which the domain cannot be transferred. If the domain is in the grace period, you will need to wait until the grace period expires before you can transfer it.

I think Dave already pointed out some important things that you can check. Apart from that, check your domain eligibility also. Some TLDs which are country specific have specific requirements. Probably try the initiate process again after checking out all suggestions provided by Dave.
