Migrate an existing virtual interface with another Direct Connect

currently i have 1 direct connect use VIF Public . I have a need to upgrade bandwidth connection and need support with service provider to do it. I am wondering if this new conversion will include creat new connection and new vif or can using existing vif

Changing speed on a Direct Connect service requires creating a new connection and a new VIF to go with it.

    That creating new vif means updating the LOA and waiting for AWS approval is it correct?

    Yes, assuming it is a dedicated Direct Connect service. If it is a hosted service then your networking partner will take care of that.
