Invite to organisation is not showing as pending acceptance.


I am consolidating the billing of three AWS accounts under one org. I sent three invites and received the invite emails. In the case of the first two orgs the invite approval was pending in the invitee's org settings, and all went well to accept the invite. In the third account, although invite email is received when pressing the accept button and then log in to the account, there is no pending invite to accept. Please help.

Could you check on the following?

  1. In your organization account if the child account is already a part of the organization -> (Account status as ACCEPTED)
  2. Check if the child account is already a part of another organization or if the management account of another organization.
  1. If this is a new account make sure the account signup is complete and the account is activated. According to AWS, some services can take up to 48 hours to fully activate.
