Bounces from gmail

2

Since 19:11 EST, I'm getting bounces from all the gmail.com addresses I send email to with this error:

Our system has detected that this message is likely unsolicited mail. To reduce the amount of spam sent to Gmail, this message has been blocked. Please visit https://support.google.com/mail/?p=UnsolicitedMessageError for more information.

Could someone at AWS look into this? I'm sending credit card transaction receipts, they rarely get flagged as spam... I'm using USEast1.

Seeing same issue on US-WEST-2. Issue appears to have resolved about 2 mins ago.

We are also seeing the same thing, also US-EAST-1. We have dedicated IP's as well, and both emails from workmail and the api are being flagged as spam.

I am having the same problem. In principle emails that were sent and bounced back are lost??? My script is such that it doesn't let me send the same email twice, as a mistake-proof...

  • Unfortunately, once a email is bounced, it is not saved by AWS or Gmail. It is a good practice to save a copy of the emails you send so that you can send them again in situations like this.

All my emails to a Gmail address are bouncing back, irrespective of the content. These are internal reports and notifications going to my own Gmail account. @AWS This needs to be fixed ASAP.
