EC2 c7i-flex Instances still not available in use2-az2 AZ in Ohio

1

Does anyone one how much longer does a new Instance Type could take to be available in all AZs of a Region?

The instance family c7i-flex has been available in two of the three Ohio's AZ for several weeks now, but it's still unavailable in the AZ use2-az2, I remember some tige ago that something like this happened and it was just a misconfiguration in the list of available instances.

Some Availability Zones don't support particular instance types. If you receive the error "Your requested instance type is not supported in your requested Availability Zone," do the following:

  1. Determine which Availability Zones support your instance type.
  2. Retry the request and specify an Availability Zone that supports your chose an instance type. Or, submit the request without specifying an Availability Zone.

In particular with respect to your question c7i-flex type instances are only available in us-east-2c, us-east-2a.

To verify the same information for other instances please navigate to

EC2 Console -> Instance type -> Enter your instance type -> Select the instance and check under the **Networking **section.
