BluAge L3 Certification - Issue in Fleet creation

Question

Hi Team,

When we are trying to create AppStream Fleet and run it, we are getting this below error.

"The instance type 'Stream.standard.xlarge' capacity limit for
fleet 'BluAge-L3-workshop-Fleet-Sasi' was exceeded. Requested :11 , Limit :10"

Upon checking there are 10 fleets already there with running status.  So when we try to up the fleet, we are getting this.

We deleted one fleet which was created by me additionally. After that we were able to run the fleet.

There are 3 more candidates who need to create fleet for their L3 hands-on. We are not sure whether we can delete those existing fleets or not. Please help to check and do the needful.

Hello Vijayadurga,

All services have defaults quotas (limits) set on the account and regions level. AppStream 2.0 also has [defaults quotas](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/appstream2/latest/developerguide/limits.html) set but customers can request for limit increase. For `Stream.standard.xlarge` instance type the default limit is 10 instance so if you try scale beyond that limit you get a message like the one you shared. You can request for this limit to be increased for your account and region through [service quota console](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/servicequotas/latest/userguide/request-quota-increase.html).
