Free teer bill during 12-month period

0

I started using amazon aws recent monts, and wanted to test some services using free teer. In the end of a monts i got a bill for 244 usd, but on the support page i can reed this:

12-Months free: These offers provide limited usage for 12 months after your initial sign-up date. You pay standard rates after your 12 months free usage term expires or if your application use exceeds the free tier limits.

So am i charged 244 usd now for using ec2 instance while 12-month free period?

Hello.

The free tier for each AWS service is independent.
For example, even if you use the RDS free tier to its limit for the month, it will not affect the EC2 free tier.
In the case of EC2, the instance type "t2.micro" is set as a free tier with 750 hours of startup per month.
I don't think you will be charged if you still have the free tier of EC2.

You can check the usage status of AWS free tier by following the steps in the document below.
