AWS restore rds snapshot to existing instance

Created a snapshot of my instance and made some unwanted changes in DB. When I restore backup from snapshot backup, it is failed due to same "DB Instance Identifier". How to restore snapshot to existing instance without deleted old one?

Restore from snapshot creates a new database resource. But you can rename the old and new DB instances if you are trying to restore from a backup and want to retain the original db identifier.
