Does AWS Cost Explorer Data Export (CUR 2.0) support retroactive data export?

Hello everyone,

We are evaluating the use of the AWS Cost Explorer Data Export (CUR 2.0) feature to export cost reports directly to S3.

My question is:
Does this Data Export start collecting and exporting data only from the time the export configuration is created, or is there an option to include retroactive data (previous months)?

I reviewed the official documentation and, while it mentions that exports can take up to 24 hours to start delivering, I could not find clear information about backfilling or exporting historical data.
Is there any roadmap or plan to add backfill functionality to Data Export CUR 2.0?

I appreciate any clarification or official references from AWS to support this decision.

There is an option to request Back Fill from source accounts for up to 36 months with the AWS Cost Explorer Data Export (CUR 2.0) feature.
