As one example, say you launched a $5 value Lightsail instance (virtual server) on the 1st day of the month, without setting up any data backup snapshots for it, created and attached a StaticIp to it, did not use any other Lightsail resources, and at the end of the month your inbound and outbound data transfer from the instance in total stayed within the allowance of 2 TB (or 1 TB in some regions) - you would pay the fixed $5 at the end of the month.
