You can turn on "Public DNS query logging" to identify the offending queries (incurs additional CloudWatch charges, so remember to turn it off)
If I had to guess, it'd be either a record with health check configured, or external parties scanning for security reasons (e.g., domain name reputation, network footprinting, etc.)

@NaticC-AWS, I have no record with a health check configured. How would external parties know about the domain i've bought?
People don't have to know about domain names - it's very easy to write code to scan for available domain names and then make queries against those domains.
