IP Assignment in EDR when there are multiple IP's

Getting our server on to AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery and we are seeing an issue where the Primary address displayed by the AWS EDR is not the PRIMARY IP of the source servers NIC. The IP shown as primary in AWS is one of the additional IP's on the NIC assigned to a specific site on that IIS server. Any insight to this, whether it is how to modify that or why it is not pulling the PRIMARY IP instead of one of the additional ones?

We resolved this by modifying the launch template of the source server and making the modified template the default!
