MP4 input sources

I'm wondering what is the recommended way to set sources for a MP4 input? Currently I've been putting the .mp4 file in a bucket in the same region as the MediaLive input and then just setting the second source to the same file as the first. Is this preferred or does it make sense to make a copy of the same file and put it in the same bucket, put a copy in another bucket in the same region or a bucket in a completely different region?

Hi RESScott,

It's usually fine with static file inputs to use the same URL for both MediaLive pipelines. It's certainly possible to specify an s3 bucket from a different region for one or both input URLs, but it's not required at all.
