MediaLive HLS Segment Separator

Question

Hello All,

I am trying to match an existing workflow for a migration to Media Live. My current setup produces a ts segment with the syntax ..../file-00001.ts  etc

MediaLive produces segments in the format of ..../file_00001.ts etc

In the documentation from AWS it clearly shows the syntax I am looking for but at some point has been changed without updating the documentation.

Does anyone know of a way through settings or API workflow that would change this segment separator?

Responding with a response from AWS technical support. As this change was done to keep up with the HLS standards there is no way to override this.

Support accepted my note about updating the documentation to resemble the current state of the platform.
