Yes, it's possible. To use ECS Service Connect with VPC Lattice, you would need to create a VPC Lattice service and configure it to use the ECS Service Connect integration.

At this point, you can configure Amazon ECS tasks in VPC Lattice as a service with a workaround and have an ALB/NLB as a target. There is a roadmap item to integrate Amazon ECS and VPC Lattice with advanced features like Authentication and Authorization
Hello @PiyushMattoo, has there been any progress on integration of VPC Lattice with ECS (without the need for load balancers)?
ECS now integrates natively with VPC Lattice. https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/streamline-container-application-networking-with-native-amazon-ecs-support-in-amazon-vpc-lattice/

This is a fantastic news! Thank you, Nico.
Using a load balancer with VPC Lattice is a standard common solution, but it is not the only solution. The cost of using a load balancer will depend on your specific use case and the size of your infrastructure. Sometimes, using ECS Service Connect may be a more cost-effective solution.

can you maybe provide links to some documentation for using ECS Service Connect with VPC Lattice?
