lightsail Create instance from snapshot failing due to blueprint unavailable

Question

I'm attempting to restore a snapshot from my lightsail ubuntu instance into another region, and am getting this error message. My ubuntu image was created a long time ago ( when 16_04 was current ), and has been updated regularly and is currently running ubuntu 22.04. How can I fix this without rebuilding from scratch ?

Hi,

Sorry for your inconvenience. Unfortunately `Ubuntu 16_04_01` is not available in ca-central-1 region, hence this snapshot can not be used to create a new instance in ca-central-1.
