Facing issue with JDEdwards setup in AWS

0

Hi, This is my first time using AWS and I am trying to setup JDEdwards EnterpriseOne on AWS referring to the link - https://medium.com/@nwosuonyedikachi/how-to-setup-jd-edwards-on-aws-step-by-step-25b9704be8df#:~:text=How%20to%20Setup%20JD%20Edwards%20on%20AWS%20%E2%80%94,Application%20Interface%20Server%20%28AIS%29%20server%20on%20port%208180.

I have logged into AWS-> Navigated to EC2 -> Launch Instances -> Choose AMI -> searched "jd edwards" and selected 9.2.6 version from AWS MarketPlace. Currently, I am blocked at the step since I am getting an error saying - The AMI ID (ami-xxxxxxxxxxxxx) is not valid. The AMI may no longer exist or may be specific to another account or region.

Need help in understanding this issue and fixing this to proceed further with the setup. Please let me know if it is an issue with AWS permissions. If so, what permissions are missing. Thanks in advance.

Hello.

Could you please tell me the region you are using?
We have confirmed that the AMI can be selected successfully for "us-east-1".

  • Hi, Thanks for responding.

I have tried using us-east-1, us-east-2 and ap-south-1 and I am facing issue after choosing us-east-1.

  • The AMI ID for "us-east-1" is "ami-056cf03607c53fd74". Please make sure it matches this ID. e

  • Hi, I am able to see the same AMI ID when I select us-east-1 as the region. I am trying to contact my administrator to discuss this issue. Will share the updates accordingly. Thanks for the help!
