Elastic IP addresses could not be released

Hello,

I'm trying to release an IP address but every time i get this error:
54.*******: The address with allocation id [eipalloc-857e2ae0] cannot be released because it is locked to your account. Please contact AWS Support to unlock it.

Hello,

Looking at the IP address that you have provided I can see that there is a reverse DNS associated with this EIP. This would explain as to why you are unable to release it from your account.

To have this removed you will need to open a support case with the customer support team as they will be able to remove it for you.
