In cloudwatch dashboards how can I get the number widget to update correctly while I change the time range on the top?

In cloudwatch dashboard, we can select the time range from the top where it's also possible to select a custom time range so is it possible for us to show the aggregate results in the number widget which has been created. Here, the period was selected to be 1 day and after that, if we select the time range to be anything beyond 1 day (say 3 days, 1 week, 1 month, etc.), we will not be able to see the accurate data as we can't see aggregate values for time range more than 1 day. Is there any way we can fix this so that it shows the correct data?

Try looking at the widget settings, under the options, and pick "Time range value shows the value from the entire time range." See if this works for you. Enter image description here
