AWS CloudWatch Insights Console increased latency

0

In the last week or so the cloudwatch console started taking a ridiculous amount of time to load. I recall it taking 3-4 seconds but now it is taking 10+. To repro, just try and hit this url if you are logged into the console:

https://us-west-2.console.aws.amazon.com/cloudwatch/home?region=us-west-2#logsV2:logs-insights

Was there some change that caused this additional latency? I'm seeing the same results on two different internet connections.

Today, 5/30 the latency returned to normal in us-west-2. Leaving open in case AWS wants to acknowledge they pushed a fix. Otherwise I'll mark this as accepted in a few days.

Edit 6/2 Marking as accepted.
