Monitron Hourly data Collection

Hello,

The factory setting for the Monitron sensors is to wake up every hour, take a vibration and temperature reading and send it to the gateway. This process can take anywhere between 5 to 30 seconds depending on the wireless link quality. The Monitron service does not expose this parameter and it cannot be changed at this time.

Do keep in mind, that this behavior has been optimized for battery life (around 5 years). Changing this to 5 minutes instead of 1 hour for instance, may reduce this lifetime to 5 months (customers cannot replace the batteries).
