Cannot switch to enabled region in console

Just be patient: it may need a few hours to propagate. Loot at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/rande-manage.html "This process takes a few minutes for most accounts, but this can take several hours. You cannot use the Region until this process is complete."

As stated in my question, I had already used the region for years and created many resources in it.

So do it means that I need to wait for hours for every login? If no, what will trigger the region list reset?
