0

Hello Community. I am trying to set up an account on google work space. They send me here at AWS for domain verify. I think i just need TXT record but I created additional name server (NS) and (SOA) records in the Route 53 hosted zone, and i can not delete the existing NS and SOA records. What i need to do?

if your domain is in Route53 then hosted zone must min contain SOA and NS record. You dont need to delete them. They are necessary for domain to function and support your TXT record.

So just create your TXT record as google said, and dont worry about NS/SOA record.

You cannot delete the NS and SOA type records-https://docs.aws.amazon.com/Route53/latest/DeveloperGuide/resource-record-sets-deleting.html

To read more about the NS and SOA record types, you can reference the link given below: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/Route53/latest/DeveloperGuide/SOA-NSrecords.html
