Activate Founders Credit Usage with domain registration

Question

Greetings from Vancouver Island,
Do the Activate credits get applied when you use Route 53 to register a domain? It looks like my EC2/S3 usage was indeed credited and my Feb 12th bill was for only the a domain I registered.  Do I have this correct?

Credits cannot be used to register Route53 domains.
