How to connect via rds proxy?

I have set up a rds database (aurora serverless ). which creates reader/writer endpoints . also i have set up user and a password for this user.

out of curiosity, I also have set up rds proxy , it creates it's own proxy endpoints . can we use the same username/password to connect while using proxy endpoints?

Hello.

Yes, it is possible to connect using a username and password.
By the way, in this case, you need to register your username and password in the secret manager.
