I´m using this thread because I have the same problem but when I want to install the Metatrader 5 app in a t3.small instance. I get a message requesting the Proxy. When I install this app on my ¨t2.micro Free Tier instance¨ it does it perfectly without asking for any proxy. In some forums it´s recommended to disable the firewall, but I could not install it that way either. Can you help us with this problem?
I'm assuming you are using RDP to connect to your instance - which means that it has connectivity to the Internet. That instance does not need a proxy server to connect to anywhere so the correct option to choose is None.
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I use rdp and whatever option I choose, the installation fails. I also tried to use the public and private ip of my instances but apparently that's not what he expects as information.

Thanks for your answer. Does your t2.micro Free Tier instance work regardless of the available country chosen? For me, whatever country I choose, it's always a failure with the obligation to fill in the proxy information.
