Can't install app on EC2 windows server

0

Hello,
I am using a windows server 2019 instance to test the services with AWS Free Tier and whatever trading application I try to install, I have a window that asks me to specify the proxy server options with the following fields to fill in: Server (with options none, socks4, socks5, https ); login and password. I am a beginner and I do not know what information to put.
Some apps I tried to install: xm, avatrade, fbs, fxopen, Exness....
Here a screenshot:

Thank you for helping me

I´m using this thread because I have the same problem but when I want to install the Metatrader 5 app in a t3.small instance. I get a message requesting the Proxy. When I install this app on my ¨t2.micro Free Tier instance¨ it does it perfectly without asking for any proxy. In some forums it´s recommended to disable the firewall, but I could not install it that way either. Can you help us with this problem?

  • Thanks for your answer. Does your t2.micro Free Tier instance work regardless of the available country chosen? For me, whatever country I choose, it's always a failure with the obligation to fill in the proxy information.

I'm assuming you are using RDP to connect to your instance - which means that it has connectivity to the Internet. That instance does not need a proxy server to connect to anywhere so the correct option to choose is None.

  • Thank you for your reply. Yes, I use rdp and whatever option I choose, the installation fails. I also tried to use the public and private ip of my instances but apparently that's not what he expects as information.
