AWS Hosting Closed, Magento Website Backup Gone, How to Recover

0

I decided to switch to another Hosting plan and they asked me to backup Magento Files. I only backed up the database files and they needed the files. I had already canceled AWS hosting and they said they did not have backup.

In another email, they asked me to reactivate my hosting and upgrade to the Premium plan to see if someone can restore backup.

Does anyone have any advice and know if AWS would still have my backup, even though they had me delete everything when I closed the account?

If you deleted the data yourself, it is not left.
Also, if you do not reopen your AWS account within 90 days of closing it, it will be completely unusable.

  • It has only been a few weeks since I closed my AWS account. When I closed it, an AWS technical support walked me through everything to delete so I wouldn't incur any additional billing charges. I'm still hoping there is a backup somewhere, but I don't know who to contact at AWS.

  • If the resource has been deleted, disseminating the data cannot be done by contacting AWS support.
