pg_cron 1.5 isn't available on RDS

0

Hello,

We need this commit from pg_cron and it only got released in version 1.5. It turns out RDS only supports 1.4.1 for now.

Is there any way I can work around this? How long do these extension upgrades tend to take?

Thank you!

Hi,

I understand that you would like to know about the availability of pg_cron extension version 1.5 for RDS Postgres for fix of bug #200 of pg_cron or if there is any workaround in RDS for same issue.

As it is a version that was only released a few weeks ago, it is currently difficult to provide an ETA for its availability on RDS Postgres. Also, I regret to inform you that there is no workaround for the same at this time.

Our service team already have this upgrade planned on roadmap. As you might understand, any new feature has to go through a development cycle and rigorous testing before it can be rolled out to the public. Any new feature or products are announced whenever made available on following public forums, hence I would recommend you to follow the same to know about pg_cron version 1.5 availability and supported RDS versions annoucements:
