DirectConnect "ConnectionState" CloudWatch Alarm

Hello,
My apologies if this querstion is stupid, but the documentation didn help that much. First time to create an alarm for DX, I just need it to send an email whenever the state is down (which is "0") but what confuses me is the value of "threashold". I've set it to "1", interval is "5 minutes" and threashold is set to "lower than 1". is this correct? Please check the attached screenshot.

Yes, its correct. you can set Threshold < 1 means which means 0 as below metrics available for
ConnectionState
- The state of the connection.1 indicates up and 0 indicates down.
