To check the status of your AWS Activate Founders credit application, you have a few options:
-
Check your email regularly, as AWS typically sends notification emails regarding the approval or rejection of your application.
-
If your credits have been approved, you can verify them in the AWS Billing and Cost Management console:
- Sign in to the AWS Management Console
- Open the AWS Billing console
- In the navigation pane, choose "Bills"
- Look for "Total Discounts" under the "Credits, Total Discounts and Tax Invoices" section
- You can also check for credits in Cost Explorer:
- Open Cost Explorer
- Go to Reports
- Use the existing "Monthly cost by service" report
- In the right menu options, select Dimension = Cost Category
- Then select Charge Type = Credit
- Another direct way to check is to visit the Credits page in your billing console at: https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home?region=us-east-1#/credits
If your application was rejected, you would typically receive an automated message stating that your application does not meet AWS Activate Founders' internal requirements. Unfortunately, AWS typically doesn't provide detailed reasons for rejections due to their internal policies.
If you haven't received any communication and it's been a reasonable amount of time since your application, you might want to reach out directly to the AWS Activate team through their contact form for more information about your application status.
