DKIM-verification issues

0

I'm getting the following mail from Amazon Web Services:

We have been attempting to verify the DKIM setup for saskiahermans.nl for the past three days. Unfortunately, we have not been able to detect the required DNS records in your DNS settings. If you still wish to use DKIM when sending through Amazon SES or Amazon Pinpoint, please confirm that the DNS records are present and retry the setup process via the Amazon SES or Amazon Pinpoint console or API.

However, when I look in my portal, I see DKIM successful. I'm not familar with this stuff and a little bit stuck now. I have attached screenshots of both my portal in Amazon SES and the DNS records from my provider.

Any help is really appreciated.

I understand your confusion regarding the DKIM verification issue for your domain saskiahermans.nl. This situation where you're receiving a verification failure email from AWS, but seeing a successful DKIM status in your Amazon SES console, is unusual and suggests there might be some inconsistency or delay in the verification process.

Here are a few things to consider and actions you can take:

  1. DNS Propagation: Sometimes, DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to fully propagate across the internet. Even though your DNS provider shows the records, they may not be visible to Amazon SES yet.

  2. Record Accuracy: Double-check that the DKIM CNAME records in your DNS settings exactly match what Amazon SES provided. Pay special attention to the record names, as some DNS providers might automatically append your domain name to the records.

  3. DNS Provider Configuration: Ensure your DNS provider is correctly responding to CNAME queries for these records. You can use online DNS lookup tools to verify if the records are publicly visible.

  4. Re-initiate Verification: Try disabling and then re-enabling DKIM for your domain in the Amazon SES console. This will restart the verification process. Remember to republish the DNS records if prompted.

  5. Check Other Regions: If you're using Amazon SES in multiple AWS regions, make sure DKIM is properly set up in each region you're using.

  6. Verify Domain Ownership: Ensure that the domain verification process (separate from DKIM) is also complete and successful.

If after trying these steps the issue persists, it would be advisable to contact AWS Support for further assistance. They can provide more specific guidance based on your account and domain configuration.

Remember, DKIM verification is an automated process for security reasons, so AWS cannot manually verify it for you. Patience and careful checking of your configuration are key to resolving this issue.
