There could be the following reasons as mentioned below :

If you and your coworker are using the same AWS account: Then please verify that you both are accessing the domain in the same region. The region can be found in the top right corner in the web console. Also, please verify if there is any error message popup in the red banner related to IAM permissions.

If you and your coworker are using a different AWS account: Since, Sagemaker domain is accessible within the same AWS account only and it cannot be accessed from a different AWS account.
If you are still experiencing this issue I would recommend you open a case with AWS Support at [1] so we can assist you in determining a root cause, as we will require access to information about your environment.

Are you both on the same region? If it is an IAM permissions issue, you will see an error that your role cannot ListDomains, ListUserProfiles etc.
