DevEndpoint for customer managed instance

Question

Hi,
When Glue DevEndpoint is created  it runs as a AWS managed instance. Is there any way we can create a DevEndpoint that runs as an instance that is managed by the customer

Hi,

A development endpoint is an environment that you can use to develop and test your AWS Glue scripts. You can use AWS Glue to create, edit, and delete development endpoints. Development Endpoint in AWS Glue  itself is fully managed services , that runs on an AWS Managed Spark Cluster.
As such there is no possibility to run a DevEndpoint on a customer managed instance or cluster
