PostgreSQL RDS - rds_tool extension documentation?

The documentation for PostgreSQL RDS mentions an extension rds_tools, and there are at least 2 functions in it (rds_version() and role_password_extension_type() ) that are mentioned in passing in the Postgres RDS documentation. Where is the documentation for rds_tools ? Repo?
