Pearson VUE Exam Expired/check-in window closed before the scheduled appointment time and date

I booked the CLF-C01: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam for the Friday September 30 2022 Check-in time: 12:15AM Europe/London BST and Start Time: 12:45AM Europe/London -BST. But when I came to check-in at 12:15AM BST and try take the exam the exam had been marked as expired and a message "The check-in window for this exam is now closed". I am pretty sure and have checked the exact times and was trying to check-in at the correct time. This seems to be a fault with the AWS/VUE website.

I tried to contact support and tried to raise a support chase using the following ULR: https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/aws-training, but I have not received any reply. And also tried to obtain support but could not find any help.

As a result I have missed the exam and was not able to take the exam. In this case may I receive a credit for this exam and try reschedule and take the exam on another date.

Any advise would be greatly welcomed. :)

I had the same experience and also tried using the URL: https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/aws-training, and have been waiting for many days for a response to try get some assistance or try get a credit to try attempt the exam again. But received no response. :(

This seems to be common fault with taking AWS certification exams at home viewing the URL: https://repost.aws/questions/QUih409h0ERQe2DgOn4gYfhQ/pearson-vue-exam-did-not-launch-and-then-cancelled

Moving forward with my experience with trying the AWS certification exams from home, I would not recommend using this service and maybe best to take the AWS certification exams at a registered exam test center. :)

{P.S. AWS it would be greatly appreciated if a voucher could be issued so I could retake the exam}

If this occurs there is a path that can be followed to try obtain a credit or voucher to allow for the exam to be retaken. This path is as follows:

  1. Book a support case with OnVUE and supplied the information above and have asked for a credit or if I could be permitted to re-schedule the exam using the following URL: https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/aws-training

  2. After about 2-5 Business days – will receive an email from Amazon Web Services aws-cs-trainingcertification-form@amazon.com And a Subject case number will be supplied. AWS advised the following information: "Thank you for contacting AWS Training and Certification. This issue is best handled directly with our exam delivery partners. If you have not already done so, please contact Pearson VUE directly at: https://home.pearsonvue.com/aws/contact"

Use the VUE link and select the "LET'S CHAT" icon. And have a live chat with a support staff member from VUE. State what has occurred and then you will be issued with a Case Number from VUE and the following information will be supplied:

"The Program Coordinators will review the Case and share the resolution via registered email. Please be sure to check your spam and junk folder as well if you do not receive the email. "We appreciate your patience and will respond to your case as soon as possible." The Program Coordinators take between 2 to 5 days to issue a response."
