Marketplace KYC - Company Statute

0

Hello, I am trying to finish the KYC for my company (Italian company) but I am stuck at the Statute Document. All the document that I have uploaded so fat (certificato camerale that is the italian company registration certificate) or our internal shareholder statute are not accepted but I didn't receive comments on why they were rejected. I can't understand which type of document is required and which information AWS is looking for.

Thanks for any help

I understand your frustration with completing the Know Your Customer (KYC) process for your Italian company on AWS Marketplace. The KYC process is an important step for sellers wishing to transact via the AWS Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Marketplace Operator.

For the Statute Document, AWS is typically looking for official documentation that outlines your company's structure, governance, and operational rules. In Italy, this document is often referred to as the "Atto Costitutivo" (Articles of Incorporation) or "Statuto" (Company Bylaws).

Here are some suggestions to help you complete this step:

  1. Ensure you're uploading the full "Atto Costitutivo" and "Statuto" if you haven't already. These documents should contain detailed information about your company's formation, purpose, and internal regulations.

  2. If you've only submitted the "certificato camerale" (chamber of commerce certificate), this might not be sufficient as it doesn't typically contain all the detailed information AWS requires for KYC verification.

  3. Make sure the documents you're uploading are official, up-to-date, and clearly legible. They should be in their original language (Italian in this case), but you might also consider providing certified English translations if available.

  4. Check that the documents include key information such as company name, registration number, registered address, details of company directors and shareholders, and the company's main business activities.

  5. If you're still unsure about which specific document is required, you may need to contact AWS Marketplace support directly for clarification. They should be able to provide more detailed guidance on the exact requirements for Italian companies.

  6. Remember that the KYC process is designed to be self-service, but if you're encountering persistent issues, don't hesitate to reach out to AWS support for assistance.

Keep in mind that the KYC verification process is crucial for receiving disbursements and providing a localized experience for your customers in the EMEA region. While it may be challenging, completing this process accurately will ultimately benefit your business operations on AWS Marketplace.
