Hello.
By the original database, do you mean the database installed within Lightsail?
If you are creating a Lightsail instance from a snapshot, I don't think the installed database will change.
Therefore, MariaDB may be installed on the Lightsail instance that was the source of the snapshot.
If you want to change the connection destination to RDS, you need to edit "wp-config.php" according to the steps in the document below.

yes exactly that's what I mean, the original one was installed with MySQL and I can access it and work with it, but the snapshot got installed with MariaDB that what puzzled me and I do not know how to solve it, the credential in the wp-config are the same as the original ,!!! help please reaaly URGENT!
