Unable to Access AWS Due to Lost MFA Device & Call Verification Issue

0

I am unable to access my AWS account because I had configured Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on a Windows device using Windows Hello (fingerprint). Unfortunately, I have lost that computer and can no longer authenticate using my original MFA method.

I attempted to use the "Resolve MFA issues" option, which should send a verification call to my registered phone number (ending in 2901). However, I am not receiving any calls from AWS, even after multiple attempts.

I urgently need access to my account to download my invoices, but every recovery method I have tried has failed. Since I cannot log in, I am unable to contact AWS support directly.

Could anyone advise on alternative ways to bypass or reset MFA in this situation? Is there a way to manually request support without logging in?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello.

Are you saying you've lost the MFA device associated with your AWS account root user?
In that case, you will need to contact AWS as described in the following document.
https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/reset-root-user-mfa

For additional assistance, see Lost or unusable multi-factor authentication (MFA) device. Choose I'm still having problems and would like to contact AWS Support. Complete the Request assistance with lost or unusable MFA device form, and then choose Submit.

Please contact us via the following URL.
