athena not showing all columns from table

0

Hi there,

i'm just able to see two out of four columns in athena. I don't know the reason but could it be because of my glue schema version? I tried changing the precicision and scale number but it didn't work. Athena output Glue Schema SQL-Query CSV-File-originalData expanded table Glue Jobs ETL

I hope someone is able to help me out. Thanks in advance!

  • How are you writing to the table ? Through Glue Jobs ? Are you writing to S3 ? Did you run a Glue crawler after these 2 columns were added ? Are you able to see all 4 columns on the left hand pane when you expand the table definition ?

  • I have a S3 bucket with with the CSV file in and I'm doing the ETL process in Glue Jobs. Extracting the CSV file from the bucket folder, transforming it and then loading it into a Database in Redshift. The table i'm calling in Atehna is the transformed one from RedShift. I did not run a Glue crawler. i'm able to see other columns from the csv file when I expand the table definition but somehow still not windoffshore and windonshore even though the numbers are similar
