Global Table DynamoDB

We deployed the Dynamodb with gloabl table through CFT and working fine. we require enable deletionprotectionenabled attribute through CFT for the global table. we are getting an error message unsupported attribute

It exists for a simple DynamoDB table https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-dynamodb-table.html#cfn-dynamodb-table-deletionprotectionenabled

but does not exist for the DynamoDB Global Table https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-dynamodb-globaltable.html

    Try adding the deletionprotectionenabled as menitoned in dynamodb rtable its not working for Global table
