Kinesis video stream sdk cpp crashes and timeouts when internet connection goes off

Hello! Kinesis video stream sdk cpp works well. However, due to internet distruptions sometimes the stream crashes and just hangs(Timeout).

curlCompleteSync(): HTTP Error 0 : Response: (null)

curlCompleteSync(): curl perform failed for url https://kinesisvideo.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/describeStream with result Could not resolve host name :Could not resolve host:kinesisvideo.us-east-1.amazonaws.com

Then I get a error code 0x0000000f The operation timed out. Could someone help me how to prevent the stream from timing out when there is internet distruption and reconnect when internet comes back
