48 hours stuck : "Your request for accessing resources in this region is being validated"

Hello

I am trying to start an ec2 gpu instance in us-east-1. I have tried both Amazon Linux g4ad.xlarge, and g5g.2xlarge instances and receive the following message.

Instance launch failed
Your request for accessing resources in this region is being validated, and you will not be able to launch additional resources in this region until the validation is complete. We will notify you by email once your request has been validated. While normally resolved within minutes, please allow up to 4 hours for this process to complete. If the issue still persists, please let us know by writing to aws-verification@amazon.com for further assistance.

I have emailed aws-verficiation@amazon.com, twice, with no reply. I have been waiting for over 48 hours and am totally blocked. What can I do?

Hello ,

Thank you for posting your question on the AWS Repost, my name is Rochak and it will be a pleasure assisting you with this today.

I understand you are trying to launch ec2 gpu instance in us-east-1 as well as you have tried launching g4ad.xlarge, and g5g.2xlarge instances and received the error provided.

As the error mentioned, it usually happens when your AWS account may be in the process of verified for launching GPU instance in us-east-1. Please kindly note that this is a security measure put in place to prevent the abuse of GPU instances. You can also try launching GPU instances in a different region where your account is already verified.

I also understand you have emailed aws-verfication@amazon.com which is the next step. If you haven’t still received a response, I recommend you to open a support case with our AWS Support team. AWS support includes various tier that you can select from depending on your business needs. The support team should be able to provide you with more information about the status of your account verification and help you resolve the issue. [1]

I hope this helps. If you need further info, let me know in the comments; otherwise I'd appreciate if you mark my answer as "accepted".

Kind regards, Rochak from AWS
