How about changing the email address of your AWS account to a mailing list?
To change the email address of your AWS account, log in as a root user by following the steps in the document below.

After logging in, please follow the steps in the document below to change your email address to a mailing list.

It may depend on the content of the email, but by registering an alternative contact, emails such as billing will be delivered to the email address you set.

Hello, Thanks for your suggestion! I was trying that, but while doing so I found about "Alternate contacts" under Account details: wouldn't adding the mailing list address there be sufficient?
