HIVE_UNSUPPORTED_FORMAT: Unable to create input format

Can someone please help with this error? I have a csv file in an S3 bucket, created a crawler to update a table in glue, and the crawler runs but when I try to view the data in athena I get this error. Any help would be appreciated.

Please Ensure that the files in the S3 bucket are in a format that Hive supports. Common formats include text files, CSV, Parquet, ORC, and JSON. If the files are in a proprietary or unsupported format, you may need to convert them into a format that Hive can process
