RDP disconnects - account issue?

I'm having a lot of trouble getting an EC2 instance working. I've tried spinning up two different t2.micro server 2019 instances. After a few minutes of using them I get kicked off of RDP and cannot reconnect.

It sounds a lot like what is happening in this thread where users have older reactivated accounts that are causing issues with EC2 connectivity. Does anyone know if this is still a potential issue?

I'd really like to switch to a more reliable vps host, but this is not a good start.

Issue solved through account support - it was a "system error on our end".
