Amazon Inspector v2 Supporting Windows Targets
We are assessing Inspector as a replacement for our current vulnerability scanning solution, and would like to know if there is a timeline for Inspector v2 to support scanning Windows based hosts. Based on comments from a similar question from 5 or 6 months ago, it is on the roadmap, but is there a potential timeline for availability?
Thanks in advance for your time and helpful input.
Hi Dataexception,
I believe you would like to know if there’s an Amazon Inspector v2 that supports Windows based hosts. Currently Amazon Inspector does not support Windows based host [1] and there is no specific timeline for an update. I advise you to regularly check “What’s New with AWS?”[ 2] to see if there’s an update on new AWS updates.
