When will Kinesis Data Analytics support the latest version of Flink, which is 1.17.x?

It's been a while since the latest version of Flink, 1.17.x, was released. However, Kinesis Data Analytics still supports only the 1.15.x version. Are there any plans to upgrade to the latest version, and what are the strategies for supporting the latest version as quickly as possible in Kinesis Data Analytics?

We do have plans to support newer versions in the Kinesis Data Analytics (now Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink) service. At this point, we do not have a confirmed date that we can share publicly. Please reach out to flink-pm@amazon.com to learn more about this and our forward-looking roadmap.
