New Private Offer extended to existing customer on AWS MP

Hi folks, I couldn't find the answer to this anywhere else - thought the community could help me out. We extended a new private offer to an existing customer, but we didn't capture the customerIdentifier that AWS MP provides when a new customer signs up or a new private offer is extended. Our team uses this customerIdentifier to meter their usage through the AWS MP Metering Service.

Would the AWS MP customerIdentifier for this customer remain the same? Or would it change because now they accepted the new private offer?

Private offers are extended to customers using their accountID. So if the customer is trying to replenish their subscription from the same buyer account, you should get an Updated entitlement notification with the same customer Identifier and the OfferID you posted.
