RDS Using More Storage Space Than Used

0

I need assistance with my RDS storage increasing daily. This is a SQL Server Standard Edition instance.

The allocated storage is 200GB, see the below Enter image description here

Autoscaling is enabled, see the below Enter image description here

Total DB and Log File Size is 14GB, see below Enter image description here

Storage Full Error, see below Enter image description here

Free Storage space is over 60GB, see below Enter image description here

I have daily backups running which get pushed to S3 Enter image description here

How can my databases ad log files be 14GB, my allocated storage is 200GB, my free storage is 60GB, but i'm getting a storage nearing full warning.

200GB - 14GB = 186GB I should have 186GB free storage, but i keep having to increase my storage because of the storage full error i keep getting.

Hi Thapelo.

It is difficult to see into RDS instances since they are managed by AWS but here is a document [1] that has some information to troubleshoot storage in RDS.

I hope this is helpful.
